Vice President
Want to shape the future of Net Impact Philadelphia? The Net Impact (NI) Philadelphia Chapter is seeking a Vice President to serve as a leader on our board and partner with the President on managing the overall operations of the organization and driving strategic annual and multi-year goals. This role will primarily be responsible for the chapter’s operational activities and partnering with the President on driving the agenda for the year. This is role is perfect for an energetic leader who wants to be plugged in to a very active social impact & business community in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly meetings (either virtual or in-person)
- Attend annual half day retreat to plan year's programming
- Partner with board members to advance the chapter's mission and vision
- Maintain annual chapter reporting, liaising with the central Net Impact organization
- Drive chapter organization and operational discipline
- Assist the President with administrative chapter responsibilities and strategic planning
- Partner with fellow regional and national chapter leaders as well as local organizations to drive collaboration and idea generation
Qualifications:
- Motivated to positively impact the local community
- Organized, responsive, and reliable
- Experience in leading a team, program, or initiative
- Able to attend monthly events and participate in monthly meetings (virtually or in-person, dependent on the month)
- Strong business communication skills
- Ability to commit at least one year of service
Other requirements:
- This position typically requires a time commitment of 1-3 hours a week, plus meeting times and events.
- NI Philadelphia Chapter suggests an annual $65 donation towards chapter programming from each board member
- Board Members must purchase their own tickets to events when applicable

The Philadelphia Professional Chapter's mission is to cultivate a network of socially-minded professionals in the greater Philadelphia Region through knowledge sharing and partnerships with the local impact community. We do this by providing opportunities for our members to learn, socialize, and exchange ideas in various ways throughout the year, including events, panel discussions, tours, or happy hours. We create connections to business & non-profit leaders through the attendance of these events -- which in turn will build one's professional network & open doors to professional development opportunities.
